Bilingual Paralegal/Office Manager Duties: Administrative duties include answering telephones, interaction with attorneys/paralegals, calculate closing adjustments, prepare closing review title reports, clear title defects with title counsel, review of Board Minutes, interact with property managers and real estate brokers, draft eviction proceedings, form corporations, and LLC s, prepare Wills, assist with civil litigation. Do both residential and commercial closings.
Qualifications: A paralegal certificate, paralegal degree, or anyone with an AAS or BA/BS, but 2+ years paralegal experience is required. 3+ years experience in real estate closing procedure, including title review, preparation of closing packages, co-op closings, lender transactions, HUD/CD preparation, and has the personality for great lender/client interaction. Spanish speaking is preferred, 55+ typing is required. Knowledge of Quickbooks, WordPerfect, Word, are a definite plus. Notary and car are definite advantages.
