Litigation Paralegal The candidate will calendar all deadlines and case events on all firm litigation matters. Conduct intake and fact gathering calls with clients and witnesses. Draft basic notices and motions. Assist in preparation of first drafts of a variety of legal work product, including complaints, answers, defenses, discovery requests, and discovery responses. Ensure compliance will all applicable federal and state court rules. Electronic filing in federal and state courts. Assist with review, finalization, and transmission of client bills. Interface with accounting department to track accounts payable and accounts receivable. Provide additional administrative support as needed. Outstanding written communication. You must be able to write emails and other routine business communication required. Outstanding legal writing ability. Must be able to write a variety of basic legal filings required. Outstanding attention to detail required. Outstanding phone presence. You must project kindness, competence, and professionalism with clients, courts, and other third parties required. College degree mandatory. Advanced degree preferred. 5 years experience as a litigation paralegal required.
