Associate Litigation Attorney The candidate will be providing meaningful experiential opportunities to perform substantive legal research; draft legal memoranda, briefs and pleadings; accompany attorneys to court and practice and career development observing best business, scholarly and ethical practices. Should have a Juris Doctorate Degree and 2 years of relevant litigation experience. Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and in good standing. Assignments as directed by attorneys within the Firm involving legal research, drafting, organization of exhibits and other documents, and attendance at depositions and hearings within local magistrate, state and federal courts. Interacting with clients of the Firm. Proficiently use computers, including Microsoft Office Suite, for correspondence, research, reports, and email communication. Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information. Observe best practices, and excellence in legal products and maintain a mutually respectful work environment. Primary fields of law include commercial civil litigation; real estate litigation and transactions; estate planning and administration; corporate law. Adhere to and promote positive interactions with Firm attorneys, staff co-workers, clients and Firm vendors. Limited travel may be necessary for filing in state courts or retrieving documents. Perform other related duties as assigned or required. Proficient in Microsoft Office and analytical Skills. Verbal and written communication skills. Rational, reasoned judgment. Negotiation and interpersonal skills. Preparedness and creativity in approaching assignments and improving the work environment.
