Law Firm Paralegal At Law Firm, our Paralegals are essential to our success in providing quality legal services. We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our team in Miami, FL. The successful candidate will have a commitment to excellence and a passion for the legal field. Job Responsibilities: Handle own caseload, including drafting legal documents such as pleadings, memoranda, contracts, discovery requests/answers. Act as a liaison between attorneys and paralegals, ensuring projects are completed accurately and timely. Identifying best practices, processes, and procedures to achieve departmental efficiencies. Understand, track, and meet all deadlines, and follow up as appropriate. Possess strong organizational and time-management skills. Take direction and offer relevant solutions, as needed. Have excellent verbal, grammar, and listening skills. Possess keen attention to detail; discretion in dealing with highly-sensitive information. Be able to independently manage one's workload and know when to ask for assistance as needed. Hold oneself and others accountable for results. Be a team player with a positive can-do attitude, especially when faced with challenging assignments. Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and other office-related software. Education/Experience: A paralegal certificate is preferable. Requires relevant experience at a law firm. E-Discovery experience is a plus. Familiar with motion writing.
