Associate Attorney The candidate will assist in drafting affirmative civil suits/DJ actions on behalf of clients related to the New York No-Fault regulation. Develop case strategy and advise clients on likely outcomes. Argue various motions in state and federal courts throughout the state. Conduct examinations under oath, conduct depositions, attend court conferences and arbitration hearings. Draft pleadings and motions including motions for summary judgment and motions to dismiss, as well as arbitration submissions. Must be familiar with the NY CPLR, Federal rules of Civil Procedure, New York Regulation 68 and be able to handle a case investigation from inception to trial. Must have experience taking and defending depositions in both state and federal court.
