Part-time Real Estate Paralegal The candidate's duties include: providing assistance in the firm's real estate department, which may include placing title orders, opening and closing real estate files, obtaining lien holder payoffs, preparing title insurance commitments, closing documents and settlement statements, confirming wiring instructions, recording documents in the real estate records, preparing and compiling post-closing packages, and general administrative tasks. Experience working in a law firm real estate department and paralegal certification (or equivalent experience) are preferred. Knowledge of Qualia or other web-based closing software is a plus. Experience 3 years (Required); Paralegal Certificate (Required).
