Bilingual Immigration Associate Attorney The candidate will work closely with a partner to manage a large caseload and provide high-quality legal services to the clients. Must be a member of the Georgia Bar in good standing. Have courtroom experience. Have 2+ years of experience with immigration. In-depth knowledge of U.S. immigration laws and processes is a must. Must be detail-oriented and organized. Should be able to work as part of a team. Strong verbal and written interpersonal skills are required. Good research organization, and problem-solving skills are needed. Must be loyal, dedicated, and hardworking. Willing to work hard for the betterment of the lives of immigrant families. Experience with Family-Based Immigration, Affirmative Asylum, U Visa Application, Waiver of Grounds of Inadmissibility, Naturalization, Fianc Visa Petition, and Consular Processing/NVC is preferred. Must appear before EOIR as needed. Attend interviews at the USCIS local office as needed. Conduct bond hearings as needed. Research and draft legal documents. Perform general case management and oversight. Appear before various governmental agencies. Organize and maintain cases and documents. Oversee and monitor important case developments and dates. Prepare immigration forms and supporting documentation like draft detailed petitions, letters, responses to requests for evidence/notices of intent to deny. Prepare client, agency, and court correspondence. Keep clients informed on the status of their cases and assist in the management of client expectations.
