Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for performing specific job responsibilities and task within a legal setting under direct supervision of Team Lead and Managing Attorney. Drafting and filing motions, affidavits, memos and other legal documents with multi-State Court systems. Tracking motions status and responses, including interacting with the Court to ensure motions are processed on their end in a timely fashion. Processing incoming legal documents from multi-state Courts. Reviewing and analyzing the sufficiency of documentation as it relates to state law or federal tax law requirements with regards to Foreclosure. Obtaining fee approval and completing billing. Updating Client on file status update through client systems, emails and phone call.
The candidate should have Paralegal certificate. Should have1+ year of experience in a law firm environment. Experience in Mortgage Banking is a plus. Professional written and communication skills, strong word-processing and proofreading skills and a willingness to work meticulously to ensure the quality of work is required.
