# Associate Attorney at, LLP, LLP (FMG) is a national litigation firm with offices in sixteen states. We are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking Associate Attorney to join our team in the Cherry Hill, NJ office. This role will help build our Labor and Employment practice section, though candidates with commercial litigation experience are encouraged to apply as well. ## Requirements To be considered for this position, applicants must have: * Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school * 3+ years experience as a practicing attorney with background in case handling, depositions and motion writing * Ability to work independently or with a team of attorneys to develop case strategies * Ability to negotiate, research, and communicate verbally and in writing effectively * Adaptability and attention to detail * Commitment to abiding by local, state, and federal laws and behaving ethically * In good standing and able to practice law in the state of New Jersey ## Responsibilities As an Associate Attorney at FMG, you will be responsible for: * Developing relationships with clients and providing counsel on legal options * Representing clients in court and negotiations * Explaining legal options to clients and bringing possible outcomes or threats to their attention * Preparing legal documents, such as contracts, dispositions, and pleadings, in a timely manner * Staying informed about current legislation, especially concerning legal specialties * Maintaining confidentiality with all matters and safeguarding client's interests * Contributing to FMG culture via committee involvement ## Benefits At FMG, we offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes: * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * Bar expenses paid by Firm * HSA and FSA plans to help offset taxes for employees and dependents * 401K Plan * Company provided life insurance up to $150k * Company paid long-term disability coverage * Year-end bonuses and referral fee incentives * Employee Assistance Program ## Salary Salary for this position is commensurate with experience.
