Real Estate Paralegal / Processor The candidate will manage routine and complex transactions as a contributing member of a highly performing team of attorneys and paralegals. Organize, assemble and distribute large quantities of documents for real estate transfers, leasing and financing. Draft, analyze and review real estate documents, including client correspondence, deeds, deeds of trust, settlement statements, title commitments, title exceptions, surveys, lien releases, corporate and limited liability company documents, including consent/resolutions, operating agreements and other corporate documentation required for transactions. Disburse closing proceeds in accordance with parties instructions and applicable law. Coordinate closings with clients, counter parties, local governments, circuit court clerks, title insurance companies, taxing authorities, attorneys, and others. Perform post-closing management of electronic and hard copies of transaction files. Other duties as assigned. Should have 2+ years of experience in managing real estate transactions from contract to closing, in a law firm setting. Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Must be an accomplished, legal professional with in-depth knowledge and experience in residential real estate transactions, strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and multi-tasking skills. Must be highly accomplished at drafting settlement statements and use of Softpro and Protrust.
