Legal Secretary/Legal Assistant The candidate' must have a minimum of three years insurance defense experience. Essential skills include knowledge of California and Federal Judicial system, docketing and calendaring procedures, preparation and filing of Court documents, including e-filing, telephone scheduling, machine transcription, and time entry. Should have the ability to prioritize and organize work flow in a team environment and possess interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with and effectively follow instructions from a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and staff and be able to provide information and assistance with ordinary courtesy and tact. Strong knowledge of MS Applications (Word, Outlook etc.) and Visions or other computer calendaring program skills a must.
