Workers compensation Legal Secretary The candidate will do preparation of pleadings including to, motions, subpoenas, notices, hearings, and requests for production. Will work on coordination/scheduling of meetings, hearings, appointments, and depositions. Other required duties include managing deadlines, preparing attorneys for appointments, drafting demand letters, composing and typing routine correspondence, reading and routing of incoming mail, taking calls from clients, attorneys, adjusters, J.A.'s, opposing counsel, etc. Must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 3+ years of experience. Excellent secretarial and clerical skills (telephone, typing and computer) is required. Must have 3+ years of workers compensation legal secretary experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to type 50- 60 wpm. Working knowledge of Client Profiles/Aderant or a similar case management system is advantageous. Bi-lingual (Spanish) is preferred.
