Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate will responsible for all case management tasks on assigned cases. Case Managers deliver world class client service and provide direction and support to both our clients and our attorneys. They follow all standard operating procedures and guidelines throughout case duration and utilize Needles Neos for all case activity and documentation. In addition, Case Managers possess strong clerical and time management skills. Utilize Needles Neos for case data entry, checklist task management, document management, and interoffice case communication. Interact with clients routinely to review and document the current status of a client's injuries and medical treatment and provide case status updates. Adhere to nonnegotiable client contact procedures to provide world-class service in response to a client's questions or concerns. Communicate changes in injuries or medical treatment with Attorneys as required. Request medical records: follow up timely on outstanding requests, read and process medical records received to the Needles case file, and notify Supervisor or Attorneys of any red flags regarding injuries/treatment. Request medical bills: follow up timely on outstanding requests, accurately confirm and document all accident-related charges, payments/adjustments, balances owed, and communicate with medical providers about timely filing and processing of bills by insurance carriers. Identify, set up, monitor, and document all valid liens. Perform investigative research or tasks at the direction of the Supervisor and/or Attorney. Contact or communicate with providers as necessary for balance verifications or to coordinate requests for permanency/impairment ratings. Process scans/mail/faxes received daily. Update and maintain all case information and activities in an organized manner, consistent with standard operating and reporting procedures. Prepare demand packages and balance sheets. Assist with phone coverage as needed. Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Products and Needles Neos Case Management Software. Strong analytical and writing skills. Clear and effective communication. Ability to work independently and in a collective team environment. Possesses strong time management skills. Professional temperament and appearance.
