Litigation Attorney The candidate will be working with other attorneys and high-performing professionals to help the clients achieve the justice and compensation they deserve for their injuries. Will serve on the screen of potential litigation clients by evaluating their cases. Gather, research, and review case records. Communicate with insurance companies and clients. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and responses. Prepare and attend depositions, court appearances, and mediations. Negotiate settlements, medical case reviews, and summaries. Assist with handling of catastrophic cases. Prepare for and advocate in the trial. Advise clients as to their legal rights and as to the best course of action in their circumstances. Investigate coverage issues and insurance policy research. Assist clients in understanding important medical decisions. The candidate speaks Spanish fluently. Must have a JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Should be a current Member of the Florida Bar. Strong verbal and written communication and people skills needed. Experience and knowledge on how to evaluate value of claims essential.
