Law Firm is seeking experienced Legal Assistants and Paralegals Law Firm is looking for experienced legal assistants and paralegals to work with attorneys in multiple practice areas, including family law, litigation, real estate, business, and estate planning. Job Summary: Law Firm is seeking experienced legal assistants and paralegals to join their team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to attorneys, handle communication and meetings with clients, and aid in the documentation and consummation of business and real property transactions. Salary: Law Firm offers a very competitive compensation and benefit package, with salaries ranging from $39,000 to $80,000 per year. Responsibilities: -Providing administrative support to attorneys and enhancing attorney effectiveness through email administration, case/matter tracking, and processing of work -Handling/organizing communication and meetings with clients, counter-parties, and other service providers -Administratively supporting and aiding in the documentation and consummation of business and real property transactions -Locating, developing, organizing, and filing client/case relevant information -Taking dictation and typing correspondence, agreements, and transaction instruments -Answering and directing phone calls -Maintaining active case and contact lists for assigned attorneys -Monitoring deadlines, setting calendar events, and administering attorney calendars Skills: -Self-sufficiency in achieving work-related objectives and ownership (sense of responsibility for) work flow -Proven working experience as legal assistant or legal secretary -Familiarity with the operation of a law office, including an understanding of laws, legal procedures and protocols, and court systems -Ability to work well in groups and with others -Computer literacy, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as billing and file management software systems -Proficiency in English -Excellent secretarial and organizational skills -Ability to multi-task, balance needs based on urgency of matters, and work under pressure Benefit Conditions: -Waiting period may apply -Only full-time employees eligible -No remote work Job Type: Full-time Pay: $39,000 to $80,000 per year Benefits: -401(k) -401(k) matching -Dental insurance -Disability insurance -Health insurance -Paid time off -Retirement plan Schedule: Monday to Friday Experience: Legal Assistant: 5 years (Preferred) Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Location: Spokane, WA 99201 (Required) Law Firm is Seeking Experienced Legal Assistants and Paralegals Law Firm is looking for experienced legal assistants and paralegals to work with attorneys in multiple practice areas, including family law, litigation, real estate, business, and estate planning.
