Nurse Paralegal Responsibilities: Review and analyze case files, associated medical records, and other applicable documents for the purpose of preparing matter evaluations. Read and interpret Pathology reports. Review and outline medical records; index and summarize documents. On-Call, after hours on a rotation basis to arrange autopsies with client, funeral home and coroner. Accepts new assignments, when necessary, to meet business goals.
Qualifications: Nursing Degree with 2+ years of generalist clinical nursing experience (oncology experience preferred). 1-3 years of paralegal experience is a plus. Prior experience as a team lead or supervisor is helpful. A high level of organization and detail orientation will be most successful in the role. Should be able to handle large amounts of document management and medical records review. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
