Responsibilities Include: Manage all phases of real estate sale and purchase transactions such as multi and single family residences, short sales, cooperative and condominium closings. Act as liaison between clients, brokers, insurance agents and attorneys. Draft and review contracts of sale, deeds, loan documents, affidavits, power of attorney, closing documents, checklists, closing binders and transfer documents such as Acris. Review title reports, loan commitment letters, surveys, settlement statements, judgments and lien searches. Collaborate with title insurance agencies and outside counsel to co-ordinate title searches and clearances. Proficiency in all New York purchase and refinance loans including CEMA loans. Produce final closing documents. Duties include draft, edit, revise, and approve all final closing documents and disclosures. Schedule closings with lenders, borrowers, and notaries, ordering loan payoffs from outside lenders and payoff attorneys. Prepare and close residential and commercial loans for banks.
