Associate Immigration Attorney The candidate will be consulting and working directly with clients on various immigration matters before USCIS And the Executive Office of Immigration Review (Immigration Court). Preparing Asylum and Cancellation of Removal cases for trial, preparing clients and witnesses before hearings, and appearing in Immigration Court (high volume of court cases). Writing Motions and Legal Briefs. Preparing various immigration applications including, but not limited to, I-130 petitions, I-485 adjustments, N-400, I-601A waivers, I-360 VAWA petitions, I-918 U-Visa petitions, I-589 Asylum, EOIR-42B Cancellation of Removal, PERM, I-140 petitioner, H1B visas; Staying abreast of immigration policy and law developments. Engaging in community and business development activities on behalf of the firm. Must have 1-2 years experience in the Immigration legal field. Be a licensed attorney. Have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and writing skills. Must be highly organized, a self-starter, and able to multi-task. Spanish-speaking skills are highly desired.
