Law Firm is currently seeking a full-time Paralegal with experience in family law for our Hamilton Township office. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter who is able to work both independently and as part of a team. This position requires excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to communicate and interact with clients and court personnel in both English and Spanish. Responsibilities: Communicate and interact with clients and court personnel in English and Spanish. Maintain files in an efficient and effective manner. Assist in gathering and assembling evidence and preparing for hearings. Draft pleadings. Other duties that may arise based on the needs of our small office: opening/closing files, scanning documents, calendaring meetings/deadlines, filing, processing incoming/outgoing mail etc. Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with the firm policies. Interact professionally with clients, attorneys, paralegals, secretaries, all other staff and other representatives outside of the firm. Flexibility to work some overtime when necessary. Qualifications: Must be fluent in Spanish (read, write and speak). Ability to provide excellent customer service. Ability to prioritize and multitask. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Ability to interact well in a team environment and to be a team player. Ability to work independently. Some college education preferred but not required. Positive attitude required. Ability to manage a case load and be deadline oriented.
