Residential Real Estate Paralegal The candidate's responsibilities include: Opening new files, creating engagement letter, initial communications and riders. Calendar and critical date management including deposits, inspections, title, mortgage, appraisal and closing. Extensive contact with clients, agents, title companies and lenders. Reviewing inspection reports and preparing inspection letters/responses. Reviewing title reports, sending title objections and clearing title issues. Drafting and reviewing closing documents, including deeds, seller residency/seller non-residency, affidavits of consideration, affidavits of title, 1099, FIRPTA, power of attorney, resolutions, mortgage discharges, escrow letters, contract addenda and similar documents. Prompt responses to client, lender, agent and title company phone calls and emails in a clear, concise, and professional manner with a positive attitude and a commitment to service. Must have 3 years experience with residential real estate. Experience in a high volume residential real estate practice a plus. Commercial real estate experience preferred but not required.
