Litigation Paralegal The candidate's duties include investigating all aspects of business, residential construction, employment, and personal injury disputes/cases, including obtaining and reviewing documents, interviewing witnesses, and drafting case summaries for attorney review; drafting responses to demand letters; drafting pleadings and motions; discovery preparation and review; trial preparation and support; and communicating with clients, court officers, and attorneys. The candidate should have 3 years experience in civil litigation. Connecticut litigation experience is required. Connecticut PLUS New York and/or Massachusetts litigation experience is preferred. Commercial and employment litigation experience is a strong plus. Should have excellent interpersonal skills. Should have good judgment and decision-making abilities. Should be proficient with Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat DC. Experience with Clio or a similar cloud-based practice management platform is a strong plus.
