Estate Planning Attorney The candidate will meet with clients, put them at ease, have sensitive conversations about their family and other issues, advise them on estate planning options. Present estate planning strategies to clients that address their needs in a language that non-lawyers can understand. Prepare estate planning documents, review and explain the documents to clients. Continually learn new developments and refine your skills in modern estate planning strategies and tactics. Learn the firm's current processes and procedures, continue to adapt to new ways of accomplishing goals. Work with the team to continually improve and develop processes and procedures. Must have a JD from an accredited law school with a current license to practice law in the State of Alabama. Should have 3+ years of prior legal experience. Prior estate planning experience is preferred. Integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness must be unwavering in order to succeed, along with a willingness to do whatever it takes to help the team as a whole is needed. Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Should be a self-starter that will address team and client needs in a quick and successful manner. Should have a positive attitude, be driven to learn, grow, and always treat others with respect and professionalism. Should be proficient at using a computer (tech-savvy) and knowledge of computer programs such as saving documents in folders, typing, Word, Excel, Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar and case management software.
