Civil Litigation Paralegal The candidate should have 3-5 years of experience of civil litigation in a personal injury law firm. Draft and file pleadings in the proper Court and case (i.e. Motions, Notices, Non-party Requests). Respond to, draft, and prepare discovery responses. Audit files to ensure proper and complete documentation is received from opposing counsel. Responsible for overseeing time sensitive deadlines ensuring compliance with Court Orders and statutory deadlines. Liaison between the attorney and clients, the Court, opposing counsel, insurance companies, and medical providers. Maintain the attorney's calendar including scheduling and confirming all depositions, mediations, and meetings. Draft correspondence to the Court, clients, opposing counsel, and medical providers. Extensive knowledge of efiling using Odyssey, PeachCourt, and Pacer is required.
