Medicaid Paralegal Candidate will process Medicaid applications and assist with other client related matters. Responsible for reviewing required documentation; corresponding with family members, patients, nursing homes, state workers and members of your team for the successful processing of client applications. Responsible for all aspects of Long-Term Care Medicaid applications, including document gathering, general advice and strategic discussions; Supervising spend-down and other aspects of the Medicaid application process; Attend client meetings with and without attorney; Communicate with nursing homes on application process; Responsible for educating clients and family on questions and procedures to assist with application.
