Legal Secretary/Assistant The candidate should have experience with New Jersey laws, strong computer and typing skills, strong organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft (Word and Excel), and is computer savvy. Assist with building an organizational structure to help the Law Firm to better manage files and position itself to continue growth trajectory. Drafting correspondence, legal documents (estate planning), pleadings, calendering meetings, reviewing and routing of mail and correspondence. Filing, photocopying, scanning, faxing, time entry, answering incoming calls, and placing calls in a timely professional manner and serving as a client liaison. Law firm experience is preferred, but not necessary. Estate Planning and Elder Law experience is preferred, but not necessary. Proficient in all basic, advanced and legal-specific Word and Windows 10 software. Familiarity and Experience in handling professional calls and client interaction.
