Running reports to assist in managing one s own caseload. Assisting with the review of billing protocols and ensuring that billing guidelines are met. Evaluating cases and assisting in providing case strategies and/or solutions to issues. Providing company contacts with training and guidance regarding the company s systems and general immigration matters. Engaging in frequent contact with company client(s). Keeping abreast of current regulations and procedures relating to filing applications. Qualifications: Bachelor Degree and/or related paralegal certificate preferred. 3+ years of experience in immigration law and working in law firm environment preferred. 5-7 years of business immigration experience with H-1Bs, E-2s, L-1s, PERMs, I-140 Immigrant Petitions, and I-485 Adjustment of Status Applications. Experience preparing responses to Requests for Evidence a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient computer and word processing skills. Detail oriented, well-organized and able to handle multiple priorities. Knowledge of immigration case management software preferred (e.g. LawLogix, INSZoom, Immigration Tracker, etc.). Must be comfortable working in a team with multiple immigration attorneys. Previous Law Firm experience preferred, including removal defense. Foreign language proficiency is preferred. Microsoft Office with strong Outlook skills.
