Paralegal, Corporate

Title : Paralegal, Corporate

Location : Pennsylvania - Philadelphia
Refer to Job # BONV731020

Though the Los Angeles office of this full-service litigation firm continues to specialize in complex insurance litigation coverage, the firm’s main office has recently tried to cash in on the technology litigation market to “bring some growth to the firm.” The transition has not been an easy one; the firm has had an unusually high attrition rate in recent years (insiders tell us some associates left to pursue government jobs but many departed for better money with different firms). However, while salaries remain slightly below market, many observers think the firm is capable of breaking through.
Paralegal, Corporate The candidate should have 5+ years of relevant corporate experience. Experience with drafting of formation and other corporate documents, UCC filings and maintaining and updating of minute books. Proficiency with PA, NJ and DE filings. Must have experience assisting attorneys with closings. Research and analyze legal sources such as statutes, case law, legal articles, and regulatory sources. Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification required. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment. Possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. Strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills required. Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel). Legal 5 - 0 Full Time 0000-00-00 00:00:00
