Paralegal - Trademark

Title : Paralegal - Trademark

Location : Washington - Seattle
Refer to Job # CRAW729614

This high-powered, long-established firm offers great opportunities for top-notch candidates seeking rapid growth and high volume in intellectual property and dozens of other challenging practices. We really have a lot of good things to say about this firm because the firm seems to consistently set a high mark for itself in numerous, numerous categories. For example, the attorneys in this firm are all almost universally very nice people to work with and this firm puts a real powerful emphasis on quality of life issues for both its associates and partners. Without exception, the firm’s attorneys claim they are treated with a tremendous amount of respect – the firm is genuinely interested in making long-term relationships with people. Management is extraordinarily introspective about the candidates they interview – according to one candidate, the firm is “almost philosophical” in its approach towards recruiting. Attorneys here typically bill in the 1800 range.
Paralegal - Trademark The candidate will be handling all aspects of U.S. prosecution and maintenance; preparing and filing trademark applications; preparing responses to USPTO office actions; preparing and filing renewals and statements of use; collecting evidence of use for prosecution, maintenance and conflict matters; drafting client correspondence; recording assignments and other documents; copyright searching and filing. Instructing and working with foreign counsel on clearance, trademark filings, office actions, renewals and other prosecution and conflict matters. Legalization of documents. Assisting with inter partes matters. Performing and reviewing trademark and copyright searches. Investigation of possible infringements. Managing trademark docket. Generating and editing status reports. Performing internet research projects and other special projects on an as needed basis. Offering additional assistance as needed. The candidate should have Bachelor's degree and completion of paralegal program of study, or clear demonstration of equivalent knowledge and skill. 3+ years of experience as an intellectual property/trademark paralegal preferred. Post-college level writing and oral communication skills essential. Highly developed skills in time and task management. Highly developed attention to detail in striving for perfection in the firm s work product and client service. Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office computerized business applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) for the creation and editing of complex documents, spreadsheets, and electronic mail). Proficiency in the use of computerized legal research and document retention databases for performance of fact and legal research and effective management of complex evidence and case files. Fintech Associate Attorney - Junior To Mid-level

Title : Fintech Associate Attorney - Junior To Mid-level

Location : Washington - Seattle
Refer to Job # HQCU729629

Experience the prestige and challenge of Fortune 500 companies including dot coms, while enjoying the sunny lifestyle of the Southwest at this very busy, larger firm. Well-reputed in intellectual property, civil and securities litigation and corporate transactional practices, it is always striving towards excellence and professionalism in its associates, and actively encourages new associates to delve into responsible roles as soon as possible. Ready to meet the challenge? The associates here are some of the happiest associates in Phoenix and truly seem to enjoy the work that they do. We do not need to tell you that as a very successful Arizona firm the people here do appear to work very hard and we hate to say it but we will: Many are working New York type hours. The firm also has been criticized in many respects for its lack of diversity; however, we do not believe that this is a serious problem because the firm's recent hires have all been very diverse in our opinion. The firm also receives very high scores for the treatment of associates by partners and there does appear to be a very good relationship here between associates and partners with associates feeling they are part of the mix to a great degree and respected by partners. Most associates at this firm would much rather stay with the firm than switch firms. In our book this is a good sign.
Fintech Associate Attorney - Junior to Mid-Level The candidate should preferably have substantive experience handling regulatory and legal issues faced by blockchain, bitcoin and other virtual currency businesses, complex technology transactions, licensing, and payment and financial services matters related to emerging and traditional payment systems, services, and products. Experience working with clients on federal and state regulatory licenses and applications, compliance and enforcement matters, complex bank and money transmission regulatory issues, privacy, and cyber security is a plus.
