Coordinate closing logistics; prepare closing checklists; oversee execution of documents and recordation of appropriate documents; organize complex transactional files. Coordinate post-closing follow-up including recording documents, wiring funds, obtaining necessary cancellation documents, organizing and indexing files and overseeing preparation of closing documents binders. Perform legal research pertaining to multi-state real estate law practice and procedures, proper form execution and acknowledgement of real estate documents for domestic and out of state properties. Prepare and file entity organizational, amendatory, and dissolution/termination documents; prepare and file foreign qualifications and withdrawals. Process and track vendor invoices. Maintain positive relationships with firm attorneys, co-counsel, clients and vendors. Keep accurate time records. Observe confidentiality of client matters. Bachelor's degree with a 3.5 GPA required. 10+ previous years of law firm experience in a commercial real estate practice with substantial experience in title and survey required.
