Serve as a resource to attorneys and legal assistants on procedural and case-specific issues, e.g., questions pertaining to cite-checking, the Bluebook, filing of court documents, discovery, trial preparation, etc. Prepare audit response letters, as needed. Attend practice group and case team meetings. Prepare and release daily diaries, weekly timesheets and Current Availability System reports. Mentor junior legal assistants, as needed, and effectively follow through on all delegated tasks as assigned. Assist with special projects, i.e., monitoring topics of interest to attorneys, analysis of questionnaires, etc., as needed; carry out other responsibilities as may be assigned. The candidate will have an outstanding academic record, some work experience as a paralegal and excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
