Assist with the review of billing protocols and ensure that billing guidelines are met. Evaluate cases and assist in providing case strategies and/or solutions to issues. Provide company contacts with training and guidance regarding firm systems and general immigration matters. Engage in frequent contact with company client(s). Keep abreast of current regulations and procedures relating to filing applications. Make photocopies. Send faxes and scan documents. Retrieve and/or return files. Create mailing labels for packages and track delivery. Work with clients to obtain documents and information necessary to prepare applications. Draft support statements and organizes documentations for filling. File and monitor applications and petitions with appropriate government agencies. Perform research to obtain information such as background on a company or industry, current wages, processing procedures, stand processing times, etc. Initiate contact with government officials to obtain necessary information to alert supervising attorney of potential delays or possible problems in the processing of an application. Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate is required. Must have 1+ year of corporate immigration experience. Should preferably have 1 year ofNIV experience.
