Responsible for transcription from tapes, preparing letters and memos; accurately proofread work product; photocopy, assemble and distribute prepared materials as requested; red-line, e-mail or process documents in accordance with author s request; convert and format documents using Word styles; repair corrupt documents using DocX Tools; provide support to attorneys and handle specific projects. Responsible for working knowledge of Firm and/or department sponsored equipment and software. These include, but not necessarily limited to: scanning software; E-Fax software and procedures; DeskSite, Word 2016 and related software; Best Authority; expense reports and Chrome River procedures. Communication Complete intake forms for prospective clients. Welcome guests and clients by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries. Communicate with court personnel, including judges and clerks, in addition to co-counsel, opposing counsel, and other attorneys and professionals. Scheduling Schedule couriers, court reporters, expert witnesses, and others. Client service Maintain client confidence by keeping attorney-client information privileged.
