Help prepare clients and clients' files for mediations, depositions, and court hearings. Prepare trial exhibit notebooks. Prepare pleadings index binders. Enter own billable time into billing system (Timeslips). Handle confidential internal and external matters. Answer incoming calls as needed to assist the Office Administrator. Accept and process client payments as needed to assist the Office Administrator. Process incoming mail and email as needed to assist the Office Administrator. The candidate should preferably have a Bachelor's degree. Associate's degree is required. Certificate from an ABA-Certified Paralegal Program preferred. Must have 3 years of paralegal experience (family law experience preferred). Strong proficiency in or ability to quickly learn the Tenth Judicial District Family Court Rules, as they pertain to calendaring, procedural motions, and financial disclosures. Experience in the use of time keeping (Timeslips) and case management software (Amicus Attorney).
