Attorney - Litigation The candidate will represent personal injury clients from intake through to case conclusion. Will meet with clients and other professionals to discuss details of case. Engage in internal meetings with firm attorneys in accord with firm protocol. Follow firm protocols and procedures in the management of assigned case loads. Prepare affidavits or other documents, such as legal correspondence, and organize and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing system. Prepare for trial by performing tasks such as organizing exhibits, preparing lay and expert witnesses and overall presenting claims on behalf of clientele.. Prepare legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, appeals and any and all documentation necessary to the presentation of cases and prosecution of cases for injured plaintiffs.. File pleadings electronically. Must have Juris Doctor degree. Should be admitted to the Connecticut Bar. Must have 3+ years Plaintiff Personal Injury legal experience. Excellent verbal and written communications skills is essential. Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills is essential.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel and Word is essential.
