Paralegal/ Legal Assistant The candidate will provide responsibilities include: Draft correspondence and legal documents. Create, organize, and maintain case and correspondence files. Perform legal research and prepare legal memoranda. File legal documents at federal and state courts using PACER/ECF, OneLegal, or equivalent state court systems. Prepare for upcoming trial(s). Manage accounts receivable/payable; and otherwise assist attorneys. Must be an energetic, outgoing team player, who does not shy from responsibility, and who works well under the pressures common to the practice of law, and who has a demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and hard-working. BS/BA degree is preferred. Proficiency in WordPerfect, Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office programs is also required. Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Abacus, Abacus Accounting and Billing, Quicken, and QuickBooks is desired. Technical expertise with all types of computer peripherals is preferred. Mastery of the English language is required. Have 3+ years of legal experience is preferred.
