Attorney Recruiting Coordinator Duties: Provide organizational and administrative support to the firm s attorney recruiting efforts including student recruiting/on-campus interview process, summer associate program and lateral and clerk hiring. Responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with Orrick's client service standards and core values. Collaborate with other members of the Attorney Recruiting Team with the following responsibilities: Will coordinate on-campus recruiting, handling school registration process, OCI logistics, and campus outreach programming. Will coordinate the call-back interview process, including handling the Recruiting Department s phone line, scheduling interviews, greeting applicants, and addressing miscellaneous inquiries from applicants. Will solicit applicant feedback evaluations and organize Hiring Committee materials. Will assist with the Summer Program by tracking summer associate assignments, maintaining firm records, providing Summer Committee with weekly reports and planning/hosting receptions and Summer Program events. Will lead evaluation collection and feedback process for Summer Program (mid and end of summer). Will handle the expense reimbursement process of callback students, summer associates and fall associates. Will identify, recruit lateral hires including communication with search firms, scheduling interviews and soliciting feedback. Will assist with organization and execution of lateral attorney onboarding. Processes HR paperwork of attorney new hires, attorney departures, leaves of absence and office transfers. Arranges orientation schedules for new hires, and coordinates attorney departure procedures. Assists Attorney Recruiting Manager and Conflicts Department with the clearance of new hires. Maintains New York office s recruiting records in Lawcruit. Supports overall departmental needs with special projects. This includes firmwide projects from Director of Recruiting. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. 3+ years of law firm recruiting experience preferred. Knowledge of attorney recruiting field and procedures. Familiarity with Lawcruit preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to organize/prioritize work while handling multiple projects and shifting responsibilities. Ability to meet deadlines. Exercises strong judgment when handling confidential/sensitive matters. Ability to work independently with little supervision. Performs as a standout colleague. Flexibility to adjust hours to meet operating needs, including occasional evenings and weekends.
