Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be developing an understanding of the anatomy of defense litigation through hands-on experience in a growing general liability practice group. Will prepare records, review and prepare exhibits, summarize medical records and deposition transcripts, and trial preparation. Contact outside sources (government agencies, etc) to obtain public information. Review, analyze and organize document productions by opposing parties and co-defendants. Review file for outstanding discovery in preparation for court appearances, pleadings, depositions and trial preparation. Determine, prepare and organize material needed for expert witness review. Assemble chronologies of key documents. Manage documents and organize case files. The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree. Paralegal certificate preferred. Should have 1-3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a fast paced environment. Experience with preparing records, assembling exhibits, pleadings, summarizing transcripts, discovery and trial preparation needed. Strong computer skills with proficient in MS Office Suite and document management systems essential.
