Legal Secretary The candidate will be assisting attorneys with efficient and effective handling of client matters, as well as general administrative duties in a fun office environment. Answer telephone calls and respond to email requests. Prepare, format and proofread documents and correspondence. Prepare and coordinate filings and discovery submissions. Coordinate attorney schedules and status work assignments. Coordinate with opposing counsel for scheduling of depositions, hearings, etc. Manage case calendaring and assist in meeting deadlines. Receive, review and route in-bound mail. Prepare and deliver out-bound mail. Maintain electronic and physical filing system. Maintain client data base. Assist in the preparation of monthly billing statements. General administrative tasks. Must have strong computer skills, with advanced knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with case, client and/or law firm management software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Must have relevant work experience.
