Legal Secretary/Assistant The candidate will draft basic legal documents such as subpoenas, and create the templates for more complex legal documents, including motions. Proof and file legal documents in the appropriate court. Manage service of process and the filing of proofs of service. Provide administrative support to lawyers and paralegals. Maintain the case files to ensure that documents are well organized. Prepare documents and case arguments for attorney use in court. Answer phone calls, take notes/messages and redirect calls when appropriate. Calendar deadlines and work with the paralegals and attorneys to make sure that no deadlines are missed. Should have experience as a litigation Legal Secretary. Knowledge of MS Office and ability to work with legal technology is required.
