Senior Paralegal - Litigation Duties: A critical part of law firm s client service teams, working side by side with lawyers, co-counsel and clients on an array of substantive client matters. Will manage large volumes of documents and data, and review, organize and maintain document databases and spreadsheets for case tracking, discovery, and document production. Will assist attorneys in preparing, cite-checking, filing, and service of pleadings/motions. Will help prepare the necessary documents for witness interviews, depositions, hearings, and trials. Will also be responsible for locating and reviewing information applicable to a particular case, person, or subject through online research or document reviews. Requirements: Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate or paralegal degree. 8 years experience as a litigation paralegal. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook. Proficient with numbers, Excel spreadsheets, and data manipulation. Proficient with Cite-Checking and Blue Booking . Advanced understanding of Federal, State and local rules of procedure as well as court filing procedures, both electronic and hard copy. Experience with preparation related to hearings, depositions, trial, arbitration, and mediation. Strong oral and written communication skills . Ability to anticipate needs and exercise independent judgment for resolution. Preferred: Experience in employment litigation matters. Proficient with legal software such as Relativity. Experience with litigation technology including eDiscovery and eRooms.
