Bankruptcy Paralegal The candidate will support the members of the firm's Dallas Financial Restructuring and Insolvency practice. The ideal candidate will have a high level of motivation, flexibility, initiative and ability to follow through on numerous ongoing projects. Preparation or drafting correspondence and other documents, preparing document templates, updating files and records, filing and maintaining orderly records. Perform full range of paralegal tasks from case inception through case closure. Assisting with the preparation of notebooks and e-notebooks for hearings, etc. Docketing. Draft and assist with electronic court filing of bankruptcy related documents. Conduct Internet research using various research tools. Scan and electronically save documents into document management system and calendar critical dates. Track and maintain ecf logins and password for bankruptcy attorneys on excel spreadsheet. Respond to inquiries and requests for case-related information from bankruptcy attorneys. Additional responsibilities or special projects, as requested. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, required. Minimum of three years of bankruptcy experience. Knowledge of Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, essential.
