Litigation Attorney Candidate will handle daily contact with clients, staff, and other departments within the firm. Must have: JD Degree. Admission to Massachusetts and New Hampshire. 3+ years' experience with civil litigation. Admission to Rhode Island Bar a plus. Advanced knowledge of applicable legal procedure. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite helpful. Frequent court appearances are necessary and a desire to be a Trial Lawyer is essential. Must have a broad range of legal and communication skills. Must be able to maintain an active and heavy caseload of files in the areas of borrower-lender relations, foreclosure law, real estate law, landlord tenant, banking law, fair debt, and truth in lending, consumer protection, and numerous related fields. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Must have a working knowledge of civil procedure and motion practice. Will be extremely detail oriented, will be able to multi-task effectively, and will have an active desire to learn and grow in a very active position.
