Immigration Paralegal The candidate will complete all immigration applications, Prepare and process asylum ,family and employment based petitions.Prepare cancellation of removal applications for court hearings. Keep clients and prospective clients informed by maintaining contact through phone and email; regarding their case progress, appointments or follow-ups. Prepare, checklists and edit legal forms or documents for accuracy (Family Petitions, National Visa Center, Adjustment of Status, Naturalizations and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, U Visa, I-601a Waiver, N-400, and Asylum). Prepare documents for court such as (joint motion to reopen, motions with the BIA, asylum applications with the immigration court, etc.) Responsible for following up and maintain correspondence with NVC, USCIS, and court personnel. Translate documents (birth certificates, divorce agreements, affidavits of support, letters) from one language to another. Research basic questions the attorney might have to the client. Must be bilingual English/Spanish. Should have Family/Litigation Immigration experience.
