Employment Attorney / Workplace Investigator The candidate will provide responsibilities include: Conduct impartial and thorough investigations for clients. Write detailed, accurate and substantiated reports, including complex legal analyses. Edit and proofread investigation reports. Conduct legal research and counsel clients on employment law issues. Prepare and present training materials. Research and prepare responses to requests for proposals. Perform administrative duties. Engage in business development activities. Must be a member of the California State Bar in good standing. Must have 2+ years of experience practicing employment law required. Must have experience conducting workplace investigations. Must have excellent analytical and legal writing skills. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have strong Microsoft Office skills. Must have ability to travel within California. Must have ability to work remotely. Must have strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail and follow through. Must have ability to work independently and exercise excellent judgment. Must have ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines. Must have experience counseling clients on employment law matters, whether employees or employers. Must have strong interviewing skills. Must have familiarity with state and federal employment laws. Formal training in workplace investigations is a plus.
