Legal Secretary The candidate will be responsible for drafting, formatting and editing pleadings & discovery. Filing with state court and with USDC. Manages calendar and schedules meetings and appointments. Prepares correspondence, memos, and letters. Interacts with firm personnel and administrative departments to complete objectives. Creates, organizes and maintains file system, and files correspondence and other records. Performs other duties as assigned. The candidate must have strong knowledge of both State and federal court filings and E-filing experience. Must also have sharp administrative skills. Should have 3+ years of previous Legal Secretary/Litigation experience in general litigation including Family Law. Must have knowledge of Federal and State filing rules. Should have excellent oral & written communication and interpersonal skills. Must be extremely detail-oriented, organized and have great follow through skills.
