Mass Tort Paralegal The candidate should be an experienced Litigation Paralegal. Will be responsible for managing a large volume of clients. Will serve as main point of contact for clients in all matters relating to litigation. Manage all incoming and outgoing client correspondence. Tracking client medical information. Assist with drafting factual complaints, cite-check and proofread legal documents to ensure proper formatting and compliance with local, state and federal court rules. Prepare summons and complaints, answers to interrogatories, fact-sheets, exhibit lists, subpoenas and supporting materials for filing with the court. Maintain case calendars. Perform legal research using various research tools, including the Internet, Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER and various public-access websites. 3-5 years of experience with all phases of the litigation process in the areas of mass tort, medical malpractice or personal injury required. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and timelines required. Proficiency using MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, Westlaw, LexisNexis and PACER required. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required. Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certification preferred. Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
