Title : Immigration Paralegal

Immigration Paralegal / Lawyer - The candidate will assist with business and family-based immigration matters on a part-time (minimum of 10 hours per week). Liaise with lawyers and potentially clients in all aspects of the preparation of non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions, applications for adjustment of status, and PERM applications. Draft correspondence and materials related to filings and RFE responses. Perform legal research. Provide accurate time-sheets for hours worked on each case. Paralegal position - Must have 2 years of immigration paralegal experience or be a recent law graduate with strong notions of immigration law. Paralegal experience in other fields will not be considered. Immigration lawyer position - Must have at least 3 years of experience practicing immigration law. Must have strong writing, critical thinking and oral communication skills. Case management experience is a plus. English fluency required. French language proficiency is a plus.
