Regional Managing Attorney The candidate oversees and manages active litigation and operational processes within regional states. Disseminates client and regulatory requirements and monitors trends in contested litigation. Makes client recommendations with regards to litigation or regulatory issues arising within regional states. Facilitates achievement of compliance goals and objectives. Assists attorneys in managing problematic litigation, counterclaims, and FDCPA claims when necessary. Drives results as related to achievement of monthly and quarterly financial expectations within all states of assigned region; takes action within states where remediation or processes need improvement. Participates in weekly calls with entire RMA team. Develops highly effective teams through hiring, coaching, mentoring, and active succession planning; responsible for assigned employees adherence to audit, training, or other deadlines. Participates in other activities as assigned. The candidate requires MBA and JD in law. Licensed in California is required and multi-state bar admission is a plus. 5+ years experience of supervisory experience is required. Knowledge of federal, state and local laws with experience in collection law and/or significant courtroom experience are required. Must have the ability to work independently. Must be able to build effective teams.
