Insurance Defense Paralegal - Medical Malpractice The candidate must have 2+ years of experience as a medical malpractice paralegal. Must have strong knowledge of the medical malpractice space, including ordering and organizing medical records, preparing chronologies, conducting expert searches, discovery, and e-filing. Must possess exceptional organizational skills and have the ability to set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Should preferably have also be comfortable speaking with doctors and medical experts to gather information and coordinate scheduling. A comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Adobe, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills is necessary. Excellent organizational and follow-up skills needed. Must have experience/comfort speaking with doctors and medical experts. Must have ability to handle all aspects of discovery. Must have familiarity with E-Filing.
