Paralegal The candidate will assist in related area of practice. Must have 5+ years of experience in healthcare licensing, Medicare and Medicaid enrollment, regulatory compliance and/or provider credentialing. Bachelor s degree is desired, whilst Paralegal certificate preferred. Should have knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to the operation of healthcare facilities, including, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, hospices, home health agencies, pharmacies, and physician group practices. Excellent research skills is necessary to monitor changes in federal and state laws and regulations that may impact current licenses, including, relocations, change of ownership, company legal name changes, DBAs, etc. Should have an excellent writing skills and ability to communicate effectively with governmental agencies and regulatory processing personnel. Must be able to handle sensitive information with discretion and utmost confidentiality. Should be proficient with computer applications, such as Windows, Word, Excel and Adobe Pro or PDF Pro.
